A sweet antique Victorian witches heart pendant built around a beautiful amethyst heart weighing approx. 5 carats. It has a light purple hue and is bezel set in 15ct gold with a halo of bright white seed pearls chasing around the border.

The Witches heart motif dates back to ancient times and was said to ward off evil spirits or witches. They evolved into a popular romantic token in the 18th and 19th Century, often gifted by lovers to symbolise the bewitching nature of their love for one another.   

Paired with a gold chain it would make the perfect antique gift for a loved one and is in excellent condition.
