Released in 2019, the two-part album Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost has been hailed as the bravest and most ambitious project of Foals' career.

Frontman Yannis Philippakis describes the two releases as 'Two halves of the same locket'. 'They can be listened to and appreciated individually, but fundamentally, they are companion pieces', he says.
